Evening Babysitting 

Evening and weekend babysitting is one of the many services we offer here at Pitta Patta Day Nursery. All our babysitters are friendly, experienced and are available at short notice. For your reassurance, we interview, and reference check each babysitter in person ensuring they are fully childcare qualified, and DBS checked. 

At Pitta Patta, all our babysitters currently work in the Nursery and possess professional expertise in childcare, having attained at least a Level 2 qualification. However, trainee staff members with childcare experience are also permitted to be present on-site.

Parents can register by requesting a registration form from the Nursery office. A termly registration fee of £20.00 (valid for three months) is required with the completion of this form. Thereafter, your membership can be renewed quarterly at a cost of £10.00. Once you have registered, you can book an evening or weekend babysitter with the convenience of a single phone call or by emailing the office. An additional £5.00 booking fee per child will be charged each time a booking is made. All bookings must be for a minimum of four hours. All payments to be made in cash directly to the office.

Parents can choose a babysitter from our friendly team based on familiarity and personal preference. We cannot always guarantee that your first choice will be available at the time of booking. However, we will always endeavour to meet your needs based on our availability.

As soon as we have arranged a babysitter, we will confirm your booking and let you know who will be babysitting. We will ensure that both parent and babysitter are reminded of the finalised arrangements on the day to avoid missing of appointments.

We must advise under no circumstances may a member of staff take a child home from the nursery. A Parent/Carer must be present in the family home at the time of handover to ensure a comfortable and relaxing transition for the child.

All fees for the arranged duration must be paid to the babysitter at the beginning of the evening without exception.
